IQAC Coordinator’s Message

          The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) monitors the quality parameters in Basaveshwar Science College and ensures that the standards of excellence reflected in the vision and mission of the college are met and sustained.

           Internal Quality Assurance System is a step towards Excellence. The college established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in the year 2001.The IQAC being an integral part of the college works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement by developing a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in several aspects  of functioning of  the  college.

          The IQAC assures the stakeholders i.e., students, parents, teachers, staff, Management, Alumni  funding agencies and society in general , about  the accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution and its concern for ensuring quality of education being imparted.

          The aim of IQAC is to arrange numerous  training programs for faculty, administrative staff and students. It conducts staff assessment to offer valuable feedback for quality sustenance and improvement in teaching, learning process in the college. The documentation of  various activities of the college has been made by the IQAC for needs of  higher education requirements. The continuous follow up has been made  on infrastructural resources of the college to assure adequate, suitable and better facilities to  enable ambiance for teaching, learning  and research. Grant of Rs 300,000/- has been received from  UGC  for establishment and infrastructure development of IQAC.
