1. Badami was the capital of chalukyas who ruled between 6th and 8th century A.D. Our college emblem reveals the figure of dancing Nataraj a sculpture depicted in shaiva cave excavated by Chalukyan rulers. The cosmic dance of Nataraj is a symbol of creativity.
2. The emblem also bears a saying from vachana of Basaveshwara, the great social reformer and mystic poet of 12th century. Shri Veer Pulikeshi Arts, Commerce and Science college believes that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER which can eradicate ignorance. The saying of Basaveshwara in our emblem runs thus in vernacular “GHNYANADA BALADINDA AGHNYANADA KEDU NODAYYA”. Realise the strength of knowledge through the evil caused by ignorance.
